Consolidated Financial Group Trust Company, Inc.
CFG Trust Company (CFGT) is a non-bank finance company organized under the laws of the
State of South Carolina. The Company intends to establish a structured financial services
organization design to take advantage of opportunities offered in the current financial markets.
CFGT will strategically target niche markets in the financial services industry where: 1. other
competitive providers are either weak in the marketing of certain products, or, 2. they have other
business intent and objectives that differ from ours.
CFGT intends to maximize the utilization of its capital resources and extend loans and investment capital
to what will be primarily "unrelated-to-us" businesses. The Company intends to participate in
less traditional, more innovative lending and finance techniques that may carry higher levels of risk
yet have greater rewards consistent with entrepreneurial ventures.
Through sales financing programs, the Company also intends to provide term loans as well as
equipment and real estate financing to manufacturers, distributors, vendors and franchisors
in order to facilitate product sales.
CFGT will conduct its intended financing business in several industries including but not
limited to corporate finance, transportation, communications, commercial real estate, and medical.
The Company will also provide services which include discount finances, factoring, inventory finance,
accounts receivable finance, and manufacturer and dealer services.
Through the creation and development of a variety of segments, and through acquisitions,
mergers and other types of corporate venture teaming, we can enhance our corporate goals,
and become a leading financial services, holdings and investment enterprise.
CFGT will maintain a high quality portfolio by using clearly defined underwriting criteria,
and stringent portfolio management techniques. By diversifying our lending activities geographically and
among a range of industries, customers and loan products, we will be able to better manage competitive
changes in our markets and to withstand the impact of deteriorating economic conditions on a regional
or national basis.
